The MOBOTIX Camera allows to send images by email. The images are appended to a short text mail body. The sending can be nudged by periodical Time Tasks or by events definied in Event Control
To send successfully an image email needs serveral settings. They are collected in Mail Profiles. You can define up to two mail profiles.
The profiles contain the following entries:
Profile | Profile must be unique symbolic name reference to identify the profile. It is used in Time Tasks to refer to the profile. This field must be filled out. |

Receiver Address | Receiver Address is the full qualified email address of the receiver of the mail. |
From Address | Is the email address, that will appear as sender. Usually it is your own email address. Note that the camera does not accept incoming emails. |
Reply Address | The Reply Address is the address the mail will be sent if any problem occurs on its way to the receiver. It is also used by the mailer programs to decide, where to send an answer to. Usually you should give here the email address you are used to read. |
Mail Host (SMTP Host) |
The Mail Host (using the Simple Mail Transfer
Protocol) that will accept the email send by the camera and is
willing to transfer it. The mail host you have to use is known by your
network administrator or ISP.

Subject | In the Subject field you can insert some words that will appear in the first part of the subject line of the mail. |

If the profile was accepted, the remove switch enables to remove the profile. |
By pressing Check and Save the profiles are checked and saved. If any error occurs an error message will be shown, in this case the profiles will not be saved till the error is fixed.
After saving the profiles you can use them for defining Time Tasks and actions in
Event Control.
Note that the EMail Profiles are not activated until the camera is
rebooted.
To activate and store the profiles over a power fail of the camera you have to Store Configuration (see also Configuration).
To activate the profiles, time tasks etc., you have to reboot the camera.
