Access to WEB pages

The MOBOTIX M1 camera allows the restriction of access to its WEB pages. There are three levels of access. You can install several users assigned to those access levels using the menu Users and Passwords.

The levels of access are:

admin	Admin users have all rights to configure the camera. Especially they can install and modify users and passwords. The admin area must be protected by a password. There must be at least one admin user.
user	Users have the right to enter the event control. The user´s area need not to be protected by a password.
guest	Guests are only allowed to see the first level pages and to fetch images. The guest´s area need not to be protected by a password. If no guest users are defined, the guest area can be used freely.

The guest's area is included by the user´s area, which is included by the admin´s area.

Notify your administrator's name and password. Loosing this information you will not be able to enter the camera and change the configuration anymore. There is no back door to enter the camera without an administrator's name and password. The passwords in the configuration file are encrypted, so you cannot re-read it from a local copy of that configuration file.
